Our company is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Accounting Manager who will be responsible for the overall management and oversight of our financial and accounting operations. This exciting role will offer you the opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of accounting including general ledger, financial reporting, project accounting, accounts payable / receivable and payroll. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project accounting, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines. This is a permanent position and requires 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A / R, A / P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Liaise with our CFO and executive team to improve financial procedures.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and mentor accounting staff.
