job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineering license in state of employment or ability to obtain within one year of hire 5-10 years of experience in roadway transportation engineering Experience working on multidisciplinary project teams Solid background in AASHTO roadway geometric design criteria Proficiency using Bentley and / or Autodesk civil design software Knowledge of DOT standards and plan preparation procedures Drainage design and / or traffic engineering experience is a plus Solid written and oral communication skills Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with MS Office applications A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project assignment Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance Generous paid time off 401(k) : 50% match of contribution up to 6% Professional development opportunities including in-house training Paid professional organization membership and professional licensure Mid-Senior level Full-time Engineering and Information Technology Civil Engineering

Compensation : $105,000 - $150,000 / year

As a Professional Engineer for Roadway, you will be responsible for a variety of projects, taking ownership from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Design and analysis of freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared-use trails
- Prepare studies, reports, memos, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects
- Work under the direction of a Project Manager to lead the roadway design discipline and coordinate other design disciplines on projects
- Support project managers with client relations, stakeholder coordination, and subconsultant management
- Take ownership of projects from start to finish, with emphasis on quality, budget, and schedule
- Interface with coworkers to achieve shared success
