APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with Turning Point in Mount Clemens, MI looking to add Part-Time Sales Clerks to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be generating sales, assisting customers, operating the register and stocking donated merchandise. Keep reading for more details!

    • What your day will look like :

  • Support and implement the mission, policies, and confidentiality standards of Turning Point and Second Hand Rose.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and donor relations; greet guests, resolve issues, and create a welcoming environment.
  • Drive merchandise sales and ensure accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Supervise and coach volunteers to ensure quality support and task completion.
  • Sort, price, stock, and rotate merchandise; maintain clean, safe, and organized store and backroom areas.
  • Create and maintain in-store and window displays; assist with floor moves and special pickups.
  • Maintain donor station supplies and accurate logs for furniture and estate pickups.
  • Monitor for potential shoplifting or loss and report issues to management.
  • Participate in meetings, maintain positive staff relationships, and report emergencies or concerns as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

    • What we are looking for :

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Capable of lifting 25–50 pounds as needed
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods
  • Weekend availability required
