About the Opportunity

As a Hospitalist at Adventist Health White Memorial, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive inpatient care. You will manage both acute and chronic conditions while supervising our talented Internal Medicine residents. Your contributions will directly impact patient outcomes and enhance the educational experience of our residents.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient care, including admissions, daily rounding, treatment planning, and discharges.
• Manage a diverse range of acute and chronic medical conditions in hospitalized patients.
• Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, case managers, and ancillary providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Supervise resident teams from 7 AM to 7 PM, typically following a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, averaging 15 shifts per month.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and care transitions.
• Adhere to ACGME guidelines, managing a team of 1 intern and 1 senior with a cap of 14 patients.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in hospital committees and educational activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.

This position is employed through Adventist Health Medical Group (AHMG) . You will be part of a supportive and dynamic team in a faith-based nonprofit teaching hospital.

Compensation and Benefits

Wage Scale : $313,000 - $389,520 / year

This position qualifies for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program .
