NDT Global is the leading provider of ultra-high-tech diagnostic inspection solutions, advanced data analysis and integrity assessment services for ensuring the safety and longevity of energy-sector infrastructure assets. Recognized as the forerunner in ultrasonic inspection technologies comprising Pulse Echo, Pitch-and-Catch and Phased Array, as well as Acoustic Resonance (ART Scan) methodologies, the company also deploys a range of non-ultrasonic technologies, such as Inertial Measurement Units, with more under development. NDT Global strategically applies its inspection technologies to detect, diagnose and model various types of threat—circumferential or axial cracks, metal loss, geometry, mapping, and more—across diverse classes of assets. By providing predictive, decision-ready insights driven by the world’s most accurate data, NDT Global enables the conditions for asset owners to optimize infrastructure health and drive operational efficiencies while reducing risk and minimizing their carbon footprint.
Overview
Are you a detail-driven problem solver who thrives in high-accountability environments? Do you enjoy working behind the scenes to ensure complex systems perform flawlessly in the real world? We’re looking for a
Technical Configuration & Validation Analyst
to join our Assembly, Maintenance and Repair (AMR) —a critical role that ensures our robotic inspection tools are configured and validated to meet demanding field conditions.
This is not a typical technician role. It’s a hybrid of technical evaluation, cross-functional collaboration, and process alignment. You’ll be the last line of defense before our tools go into the field, ensuring that every configuration meets the physics-based requirements of the inspection environment.
What You’ll Do
Validate inspection tool configurations based on environmental variables (medium, temperature, UT sensor behavior).
Review and interpret signal data (entry echo, backwall echo, A / B / C scans) to ensure inspection integrity.
Collaborate with field crews and SMEs to troubleshoot and align configurations before deployment.
Navigate complex software systems and file servers to locate and analyze datasets.
Provide qualitative assessments and document findings with precision.
Support field operations during non-standard hours when needed (flexible schedule, remote work possible).
Learn from senior experts through immersive training and hands-on collaboration.
What Success Looks Like
You’re organized, curious, and able to absorb large volumes of technical information.
You communicate clearly across departments and aren’t afraid to ask questions.
You take ownership of your work and understand the impact of your evaluations on operational success.
You’re comfortable with remote collaboration and occasional travel (1x / year).
Who You Are
A meticulous thinker who enjoys solving technical puzzles.
Experienced in environments requiring precision and accountability (e.g., aerospace, industrial testing, automation, diagnostics).
Comfortable with tedious tasks that require high attention to detail.
Strong communicator who can work cross-functionally and guide others.
Open to learning new systems and processes in a complex technical organization.
Why Join Us
Extensive training and mentorship from senior experts.
Remote flexibility with a collaborative team culture.
Opportunity to grow into roles across departments and subsidiaries.
Be part of a mission-critical team that ensures inspection success and safety.
