- Experience : Requires a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience\n

- Completion of revised Charge Nurse Workshop within the first 90 days of employment\n
- License : Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.\n
- Certification : BLS from American Heart Association required upon start\n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\n
- Exhibits leadership ability that fosters teamwork and retention.\n
- Demonstrates professionalism and ability to remain calm and lead in dynamic and busy situations.\n
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office and healthcare software required.\n
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and prioritization; can serve as a resource and mentor to other clinical staff on the unit.\n\nPreferred Qualifications : \n
- Prefer candidates with 2 years plus of ED RN experience.\n
- Strongly prefer Charge or Supervisory experience\n
