Pay Range : Sr Energy Efficiency Programs Acct : $81,800 - $109,100 Lead Energy Efficiency Programs Acct : $96,300 - $128,400

Scheduled Work Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. (Additional hours as required)

Summary : Evergy's accounting department is looking for an experienced accountant for its energy efficiency programs. This role performs month end close duties, prepares monthly variance analysis, prepares various internal and external reports, and supports the regulatory and rate-making process for energy efficiency programs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

• Accounting for energy efficiency programs

Includes making monthly journal entries for invoice accruals, performing calculations to record monthly activity, and account reconciliations

Prepare annual budget and monthly forecast for energy efficiency programs utilizing data from multiple sources

Prepare monthly actual and budget variance analysis

Calculate the DSIM tariff rates & Energy Efficiency Rider (EER) tariff rates according to regulatory requirements and deadlines

Working Conditions : Office environment with both in office and remote working conditions. Currently in office Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays with option to work remote Mondays and Fridays.
