What you will tackle
- Can you set up, operate, and perform minor program edits on advanced CNC mills and lathes—and verify quality with in-process inspection?
- Will you coach and cross-train machinists, elevating precision practices across the team?
- Can you separate Value Added from Non-Value Added work and eliminate NVA steps?
- Are you ready to partner with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve issues and drive improvements?
- Will you keep schedules on track, manage supplies, and submit maintenance work orders?
- Can you enforce standard work, safety, and 6S—and step onto the machine when coverage is tight?
- Will you sustain a safe environment and maintain 6S discipline?
- Can you execute the plan and chart performance hour by hour?
What you bring (preferred)
2+ years leading teams in a machining-heavy manufacturing setting.5 years with CNC equipment, including basic machine maintenance and G & M code adjustments.Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and continuous improvement chops.Leadership without authority—patient mentor and trainer.Metrology know-how, blueprint / schematic literacy, and mastery of precision measuring tools.How you work
Reliable, dependable, and consistent performance history.Ready for extended hours, overtime, and weekends when required.Comfortable with MS Office; Oracle experience a plus.Effective English communication, written and spoken.Role details
Shifts : 1st or 2nd.Physical : lift / manipulate up to 35 lbs; stand and / or walk for long durations.Status : Full-time.Pay : $27.50–$30.00 per hour.Bonus : $4,000 sign-on, paid in installments over your first year.Core strengths you will use daily
