Location : Atlanta, GA

Shift : Night Shift (8-hour days)

Pay Rate : Competitive pay package

Duration : 13+ Weeks (with possible extension)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant (Allied) to join a leading healthcare facility in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in specimen processing, laboratory support, and ensuring the highest quality standards in patient diagnostics. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a reputable hospital setting while working alongside experienced laboratory professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Assist in routine laboratory procedures under the supervision of technologists.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and cleanliness.
  • Accurately document and enter test information into the system.
  • Follow all safety, compliance, and quality control procedures.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely test completion.

    • Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Lab Assistant , Lab Aide , or Clinical Support Technician highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer and data entry proficiency.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
