Are you ready to dive into the world of cutting-edge electronics and make a real impact? Join ActionLink as a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser for Waynesville, NC and the surrounding area.

Location : NC - Waynesville, NC

  • Employment Type : Part Time
  • Schedule : up to 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday; 8 : 00am–5 : 00pm. More hours available if willing to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Store visits : Complete bi-weekly audits at Lowe's and Home Depot stores within assigned territory, monthly appliance work, two-person projects, and other assignments as needed.
  • Represent global clients such as Whirlpool, Samsung, Dyson, Microsoft, and more.
  • Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and photos for each store visit.

    • Qualifications

  • Experience : Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
  • Versatility : Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory.
  • Attention to Detail : Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
  • Independence and Teamwork : Comfort working independently and with a small team when needed.
  • Tech-ready : Internet access, basic handheld tools, and a Wi-Fi / GPS-enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop / desktop access is a plus.
  • Travel : Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle; required to use the vehicle to perform responsibilities.
  • Physical : Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.

    • Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation : General merchandising projects paid at $18.00 per hour.
  • Technical projects : Available at higher rates, based on need.
  • Employment type : W2 with bi-weekly pay and direct deposit.
  • Retirement : Optional 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match.
  • Travel reimbursement : Store-to-store drive time and mileage assistance.
  • Training : Paid training time provided to prepare you for program success.
  • Time off : PTO accrual weekly.
