Responsibilities
- Support the development of systems across defense, civilian, and space domains by combining physics-based modeling, AI / ML techniques, and platform engineering expertise.
- Ensure models run efficiently across cloud and on-premises environments while integrating into federated digital engineering ecosystems.
- Design and develop modeling and simulation solutions, and evolve them with advanced technology.
- Broaden skills by merging technical engineering expertise and model and simulation to create digital engineering solutions that drive missions.
Qualifications
You Have : 3+ years of experience developing high-fidelity physics-based models and simulationsExperience with model and simulation tools, such as CAD tools, Thermal Analysis, Mission Engineering, Discrete Event Simulations, Monte Carlo, and Integration Platforms, including ModelCenter and OmniverseExperience with integrating models and simulations and building of Digital TwinsExperience with technical mentorship and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure M&S environmentsExperience performing analysis studies in a modeling and simulation environmentSecret clearanceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology fieldYou Have (Nice If You Have) : Experience with requirements and architecture development across the systems development lifecycleExperience with design of experiments, ANOVA, and other statistical testsExperience with computational or agent-based modeling and machine learning integrationExperience with Python for simulation workflowsExperience in defense M&S or mission engineering programsExperience leading validation and test and evaluation by benchmarking against ground-truth data and quantifying resilience under contested conditionsKnowledge of platform engineering, including deployment of workloads across cloud (AWS, Azure, or Cloud One) and on-premises HPC clustersKnowledge of multi-domain operations (air, land, sea, space, and cyber)Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, such as CI / CD pipelines, containerization, or orchestrationINCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification (CSEP or ASEP)Clearance

Compensation
Salary ranges are provided as a reference and are determined by location and candidate qualifications. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
