Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Job Title : Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location : Remote (Serving K12 students across Ohio)
Employment Type : Full-Time 1099 Contract
Key Responsibilities :
Provide virtual speech-language therapy in alignment with each students IEP
Conduct remote speech and language assessments to determine eligibility and guide service planning
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment goals
Maintain accurate documentation of services, assessments, progress, and munications
Attend and contribute to virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Collaborate with teachers, intervention specialists, parents, and related service providers
Ensure pliance with Ohio Department of Education requirements and IDEA regulations
Utilize secure teletherapy platforms and digital tools for effective service delivery
Remain current on best practices and licensure requirements for school-based telepractice
Required Qualifications :
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Ohio
Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
Minimum of 1 year of experience providing school-based services (in-person or remote)
Strong understanding of IEP processes, special education pliance, and student documentation requirements in Ohio
Proficiency with teletherapy platforms (e.g., Zoom, PresenceLearning, TheraPlatform, etc.)
Excellent munication, time management, and documentation skills
Access to reliable internet and a private, professional home workspace
Preferred Qualifications :
Prior experience with teletherapy service delivery in a school setting
Familiarity with Ohio-specific IEP platforms (e.g., Frontline, ProgressBook, IEP Anywhere)
Experience working with a wide range of speech and language disorders
Bilingual (Spanish or other language proficiency) is a plus
Experience working with students with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, or emotional / behavioral disorders
