Security Officer Flex - Media Patrol

As a Security Officer Flex - Media Patrol in Los Gatos, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the location. You will also deliver exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Pay Rate : $25.71 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Thur 08 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity in and around the location to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while upholding Allied Universal standards.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Remain alert and attentive during all shifts, adapting to changing environments and conditions as required by the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
