Overview

Library Assistant / Page – Part-Time

Hours : Regular hours Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 6 pm plus weekends and other hours as mutually agreed.

Responsibilities

• Shelving (paging) and shelf-reading duties as required. Expectation that 90% time will be shelving. Collects contents of book drops and locks same when indicated.
• Assists in Children’s Department duties as needed, including charging and discharging library material to users, answers and routes telephone calls.
• As needed, checks on building conditions including stacks, rest rooms and meeting rooms. Performs all related duties as necessary.
