Highland Emergency Medicine is seeking a passionate, mission-driven academic emergency physician to join our faculty as Clerkship Director and Assistant Program Director starting Summer 2026 . This is a full-time position combining clinical care, medical student education, and residency leadership in one of the most dynamic safety-net environments in the country.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
\n\n
Education : Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) is required.
\n\n
Required : Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
\n\n
Required Licenses / Certifications : Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in the State of California.
\n\n
Valid DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) license
\n\n
Compliance with Emergency Medicine (EM) Board mandated education and training to maintain State licensure and board certification.
\n\n
\n\n
Pay Range : $169.66-$179.86 / Hour
\n\n
The pay range for this position reflects the base pay scale for the role at Alameda Health System. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, and certifications, departmental equity, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and the operational needs of the organization.
