Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience
• Experience with a patient ratio of 5-6
• Proficient in charting systems

Description :

We are seeking a Med-Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse.

This role involves providing care for patients in a telemetry and medical-surgical unit.

Candidates should have experience in accessing ports and blood product administration.

Skills in cardiac telemetry, central line care, and management of chest tubes are required.

Knowledge of cerebrovascular accidents and external CPAP / BIPAP management is essential.

Candidates must be capable of interpreting arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.

Experience with isolation precautions and IV insulin protocols is necessary.

The role requires managing cardiac drips without titration and vasoactive drips without titration.

Experience in total joint replacements and post-cardiac procedures is also important.

Knowledge of wound care and compliance with safety protocols is expected.

Interdisciplinary support will be available from various departments.

This position involves working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient age groups.

The daily census for this unit averages 35 patients.

Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to float to other areas if needed.

This is a travel position, and prior travel experience is preferred.

The facility requires compliance with specific documentation and licensing standards.

Candidates will need to verify their certifications and submit required clinical documentation.

Flexibility regarding submission timelines may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
