We are currently seeking a Financial Accounting Intern at our ATI Specialty Materials facility located in Monroe, North Carolina, reporting to the Director, Finance & Operations. The Financial Operations team is responsible for performing daily accounting operations, month-end close process, financial reporting, while maintaining effective internal controls. As an Accounting Intern, you'll work collaboratively across other finance functions (Cost Accounting, FP&A, and Payroll).

Primary Responsibilities

As a Finance Intern you will provide support services within the Finance Department. This will include, but not limited to :

• Participate in the development of policies, procedures and practices that are essential to internal controls
• Lead process improvements within various areas of finance operations
• Lead PowerBI project to streamline financial reporting and visibility
• Perform financial analysis on ad-hoc basis
• Collaborate on special projects
• Support other ad-hoc requests
