Are you a registered nurse, with an ADN and at least 6 months of experience in nursing, ready to take the next step in your career?\n\nQualifications\n\nEducational / Minimum Requirements : \n\nMust have an ADN. BSN is preferred.\n\nMust have a current CT RN License.\n\nMust have CPR w / Basic Life Support.\n\nMust have a minimum of 6 months nursing experience in a clinical setting. Behavioral Health Nursing experience is preferred.\n\nState / Federal Mandated Licensure or Certification Requirements : \n\nCurrent State of Connecticut licensure as a Registered Nurse. Certification from a professional nursing body preferred. CPR Certification w / BLS.\n\nBristol Hospital Mandated Educational Requirements : \n\nGeneral orientation at time of hire. Fire / Safety / Infection Control annually. Healthcare Provider CPR W / BLS from American Heart Association or Professional Rescuer CPR w / BLS by American Red Cross or other similar programs deemed appropriate by management. Successfully complete all training programs as determined by Education & HRD department. Other unit based competencies / skills as required.\n\nSpecial Requirements : \n\nSuccessfully complete SR Behavioral based competencies\n\nMust be able to successfully attend and complete CPI training as part of orientation\n\nPhysical Requirements : \n\nPhysical agility with repetitive occurrence including but not limited to; walking, running, bending, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, standing, sitting, and twisting. Lifting greater than 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the work day. Looking at a computer monitor. Vision acuity correctable to normal. Hearing acuity correctable to normal. Acute sense of smell for normal perception. Ability to verbalize so that the average person can comprehend.\n\nWork Environment : \n\nMust be able to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to work in a Healthcare, climate controlled environment.
