Order Entry Specialist
The Data Entry Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Account Manager by ensuring seamless execution of customer account activities. This position is responsible for managing order fulfillment, maintaining accurate data records, and facilitating communication between internal teams and customers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Expedite customer orders to meet delivery timelines and service expectations.
- Process and enter quotes, customer orders, internal stock builds, and RFQs into the customer portal.
- Assist in resolving customer quality concerns by coordinating with internal teams and documenting issues.
- Review and interpret customer planning schedules, forecasting data, and floor inventory levels to support proactive account management.
- Generate, customize, and distribute account-specific reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support documentation requests including certifications, compliance records, and product specifications.
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned to support account operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements and internal processes.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in order entry, data entry, and order processing.Experience with inventory management and purchase orders.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.Ability to verify and review documents accurately.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with AS400 systems is a plus.Experience with OEM customer portals preferred but not required.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.Experience in the steel industry is advantageous but not mandatory.Work Environment
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm or 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm. The position involves working within a team of 16 or more members.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.75 / hr.
