Intermediate PSOC Administrator

Springfield, VA

Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) supports large-scale government operations by leveraging cutting-edge technology.

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) provides integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience in the Federal marketplace.

Position — The Intermediate PSOC Administrator provides 24 / 7 / 365 monitoring of the customer's IT-enabled Mission Services and operational infrastructure located in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Actively monitor the status of assigned and supported operational systems and services.
  • Actively monitor approved tools for critical server error notifications.
  • Communicate with on-site Operations & Support for resolutions.
  • Respond to phone calls requesting production systems support and attempt to resolve the issue during the initial call.
  • Provide timely status updates to ESC personnel in preparation for briefings.
  • Participate in Service Restoration meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s Degree and 4+ years relevant experience OR
  • Associate's degree and 6+ years relevant experience OR
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and 8+ years relevant experience

    • Operational experience with ServiceNow

  • Experience in the Intelligence Community
  • DoD 8140 (formerly 8570.01-M), IAT Level II : CCNA-Security; GICSP; GSEC; Security+ CE (within 6 months)
  • TS / SCI Clearance

    • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to work weekends as needed
  • Ability to work day or night shifts (8-hour shifts); floater on the team
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to manage multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
  • Effective communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Friendly, professional interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications; experience training end users on technical issues; ability to provide technical assistance over the phone
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think abstractly to solve problems
