job_description.job_card.job_descriptionGraduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Administer nursing care to patients in an efficient, safe, and courteous manner using appropriate nursing procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. Utilizes information technologies to meet patient needs and provide evidence-based care to improve health outcomes. Current state Registered Nurse Licensure, within state of Colorado. Compact license accepted and Colorado License must be obtained within first 90 days of hire. Current BLS Certification. Current PALS certification within 6 months of hire. Current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire. Successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire. Demonstrates flexibility with working hours and shifts scheduled to meet staffing requirements within department. ICU : Minimum of 1 year ICU / Inpatient experience preferred. FBC : Successful completion of basic fetal monitoring course within 4 months of hire. Reason for opening (special, internal vacancy, leave coverage) How long has it been open?
