Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Westerly, RI (with travel to Connecticut clinics as needed) Healthcare Setting : Outpatient Clinic Infusion – Cancer Center Medical Oncology Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026) Nursing Shift : Day shifts, 5x8-hour (08 : 00 – 16 : 30), Monday–Friday Hours per Week : 40 Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100–$2250 No weekends or on-call requirements Free on-site parking Scrub Color : Royal Blue Charting System : Epic EMR Outpatient Oncology RN Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Oncology RN experience (1.5 years with Level I or travel nursing experience considered) Active Registered Nurse licenses in Rhode Island and Connecticut (must be obtained before start date) BLS certification (AHA required) ONS / ONCC Chemotherapy certification Proficient in chemotherapy administration, IV therapy / infusion, port and central line care, and outpatient oncology nursing Skilled in recognizing and communicating abnormal lab values Epic charting experience preferred Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Willingness to float between Rhode Island and Connecticut clinic locations Travel nurses must reside at least 75 miles from the facility Key Responsibilities for Oncology Registered Nurse Deliver compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric oncology patients in an outpatient infusion clinic Administer chemotherapy and other infusions in accordance with ONS / ONCC guidelines Access, manage, and care for ports, central lines, and PICC lines Monitor, document, and communicate patient status, including abnormal lab values Educate and support oncology patients and their families throughout treatment Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, including pharmacy, social services, and phlebotomy Float between Westerly, RI and Connecticut outpatient oncology clinic locations as needed Ready to make a difference in oncology nursing?
