- Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine treatment needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
- Manage patient interactions with empathy and professionalism to foster a positive experience.
- Experience
- A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging is essential.
- Experience in performing various dental procedures including endodontics, oral surgery, and dental fabrication is highly desirable.
