As a Registered Nurse (RN) in a short-term surgical circulator role, you will provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing orthopedic, sports medicine, endocrinology, and ENT procedures. This position emphasizes critical thinking, teamwork, and autonomy while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Candidates must possess an Oklahoma RN license and preferably have a diploma or associate's degree in nursing with relevant experience.

Overview : Compensation

• 13 week short term agreement.
• $65.00 an hour flat rate.
• No benefits.

We have 7 operating rooms for orthopedic, sports medicine, endocrinology, and ENT cases located in the HealthPlex tower at Norman Regional Hospital. Our nurses demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, autonomy, and critical thinking skills while caring for a wide range of patient types. We orient new nurses to each of our surgical areas, spending time with dedicated preceptors in each area. Upon completion of orientation, nurses will be able to circulate orthopedic, sports medicine, endocrinology, and ENT cases as well as a wide variety of other service lines. Responsibilities : Job Summary

RN essential functions include, but are not limited to :

Collaboration with other health professionals, assessment, analyzing assessment data,

Establishing goals, planning care strategy, establishing priorities of care, implementing care,

Delegating tasks safely, providing safe direct and indirect nursing care, evaluating responses to interventions, and

Performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation.

In collaboration with the physician you will provide total patient nursing care by assisting, leading, and / or directing care with a multi-disciplinary team of care providers.

Cares for all ages of patients; infant to geriatric.
