We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team at our fine dining restaurant, Lonesome Dove! The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to manage reservations efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems.
  • Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests regarding their seating status.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest relations.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service throughout the dining experience.

    • Experience

  • Previous host experience is required, along with a background in fine dining.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest services.
  • Excellent communication abilities, including phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
