Mechanical Assembly Technician (#161931)

Position : Mechanical / Hydraulic Assembly Technician Location : Odessa, TX Pay : $22–$25 per hour Shifts : Day and Night Shift Available Job Purpose Support the assembly and testing of mechanical and hydraulic assemblies of low complexity within a workshop environment. Key Responsibilities Apply and develop basic skills in the operation and use of procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment. Identify different types of products and tooling properties. Complete required test documentation, including test reports, failed test reports, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as requested. Clean components according to specifications and verbal / written instructions. Assist senior technicians in advanced activities and ensure all equipment, tooling, and spare parts are ready for assembly and / or testing. Follow all safety procedures and learn company standards and practices. Works under daily supervision from senior technicians or supervisors. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Technical diploma preferred. Basic knowledge and use of hand tools, equipment, and techniques. Work Environment Shop environment with high noise levels. May work with high-pressure equipment and chemicals. May be subject to inclement weather conditions.
