Deli Manager Job Description :

A Piggly Wiggly Deli Manager oversees the daily operations of the deli department, ensuring quality products, excellent customer service, and a clean and safe environment. Key Responsibilities :

Managing Staff :

  • Deli Managers supervise and train deli associates, ensuring they adhere to Piggly Wiggly standards and procedures

Food Safety :

  • They implement and maintain strict food safety practices, including proper food handling, storage, and preparation to ensure compliance with all regulations. You will be required to have or obtain a SERVSAFE certificate.
  • Quality Control :

  • Deli Managers are responsible for inspecting food quality and presentation, monitoring product freshness, and ensuring that all items meet Piggly Wiggly's standards
  • Customer Service :

  • They interact with customers, take orders, and resolve any issues or concerns
  • Operational Efficiency :

  • Deli Managers manage the daily operations of the deli, including stocking, cleaning, and maintaining equipment.
  • Inventory Management :
