Finance Business Partner Intern
The Finance Business Partner Intern will partner with the Cirrus manufacturing and supply chain operations team on key projects. This position will collaborate with the team to implement Key Performance Indicators, leveraging and improving upon existing metrics, and identifying business trends through related measurement and analysis. This position will also analyze historical spending trends, evaluate different scenarios and help the business team understand potential trade-offs. Additionally, providing the team with the tools they need to effectively forecast in the short- mid- and long-term will also be critical. This position is rife with opportunity to explore financial operations in the supply chain and manufacturing space.
This internship will be onsite in Duluth, MN from May 2026 through August 2026.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Acts as a support function of the Finance Business Partner team to provide operation leadership financial outlook and performance, actively participating in cross-functional meetings and presenting relevant reporting and documents
- Prepare and maintain key insights resulting from KPIs generated in collaboration with manufacturing operations and finance leadership
- Perform sensitivity analysis around key assumptions to provide guidance around potential outcomes
- Engages in monthly review preparation, providing financial insights to key drivers of change and ensuring results are well understood by decision makers
- Collaborates with operations to make recommendations for scalable business solutions related to planning
- Performs ad hoc financial analysis as requested
- Working on multiple projects at a time, this role will focus on the details while simultaneously working to take on high level / big picture challenges
