Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring an active OH or compact RN license, with recent permanent Cath Lab experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a hospital Cath Lab setting
  • Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM
  • On-call rotation every other weekend or every third weekend based on staffing, plus 1-2 additional on-call days during the week
  • Circulating and documentation duties are required
  • Epic EMR system is used and experience is required
  • Patient population consists of cardiac catheterization cases
  • Role includes responsibility for cardiac cath procedure circulation and documentation
  • Must work at least every other holiday as scheduled
  • Orientation includes required testing and completion of compliance modules
  • Badging and onsite fingerprinting required before start date
  • Candidates with prior permanent or per diem employment at the facility must have a one-year gap before returning
  • Nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free policy requirements
  • Staffing and on-call rotation details will be reviewed with the Nurse Manager during the phone screen
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

  • Active OH or compact RN license must be in hand
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent Cath Lab experience required prior to travel
  • Demonstrated experience in circulating and documenting cardiac Cath Lab procedures
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable score within two attempts
  • No license hits or open background check cases accepted
