The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $125,766 to $157,208
Overview
This role is responsible for providing legal counsel on Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) matters and various Independent System Operator / Regional Transmission Organization (ISO / RTO) issues across the United States. This individual will effectively support the Company's project development and ongoing operations while working closely with regulatory agencies, internal teams, and external counsel. Additionally, this individual will ensure compliance with evolving federal energy laws, regulations, and market participation requirements, and support the company's business objectives in the power sector.
The successful candidate will have strong familiarity and direct experience working with FERC regulations, market rules, tariff requirements, and the operations of ISOs / RTOs such as PJM, CAISO, MISO, NYISO, and ERCOT. Duties will include analyzing regulatory developments, drafting and filing regulatory documents, advocating for the Company's commercial interests, and supporting transactional, litigation, and compliance matters.
This position will report directly to the Vice President, General Counsel.
