$2,570 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Physical Therapist

Hours per Shift : 8 hours, Monday-Friday

Experience : Minimum of 2 years current PT experience required.

License : State License required.

Certifications : BLS (AHA) required.

Must-Have :

  • Updated CAQH required.
  • NPI required.
  • Flexibility to work Inpatient PT as needed.
  • Ability to treat all normal diagnoses seen in outpatient clinics.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy required.
  • Previous rehab experience required.
  • Previous travel experience required (at least 3 months).
  • CPSI EMR experience highly preferred.
  • Previous experience working with PTA's preferred.
  • Must have own vehicle.

Description :

This facility focuses on physical therapy with direct involvement from each therapist.

The approach combines advanced hands-on techniques with patient education and individualized rehabilitative programs.

Therapists are trained in a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional treatment methods.

The patient population includes those with orthopaedic and sports injuries, gait issues, and balance training needs.

Other typical cases involve fractures, sprains, musculoskeletal dysfunctions, neck and back pain, and neurological disorders such as stroke and Parkinson's disease.

Additional areas of focus include balance and fall prevention, bone and joint diseases, hand injuries, workplace injuries, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, and pulmonary rehabilitation.

The typical patient ratio is approximately 8 per day Monday-Thursday and 6 on Fridays.

The traveler will be responsible for providing evaluations and treatments, including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises for various diagnoses.

Requests for time off during the assignment must be noted before profile upload.

No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted, and less is preferred.

Travelers are required to cover two holiday weekends.

Extensions that request to end in November or before the holiday in December will not be considered for an extension at the beginning of the following year.

The community is small without public transport, thereby requiring all candidates to have their own vehicle.
