Essential Job Functions :
- Coordinate work rotation and break schedules for department team members
- Ensure equipment is in safe and working order at all times including any necessary troubleshooting
- Process necessary paperwork
- Drive quality, safety, productivity, and continuous improvement within the department
- Promote 5S and Lean to the fullest extent
- Hold daily team meetings at the start of shift in absence of supervisor
- Complete a daily written and verbal handoff with counterpart
- Assist in GEMBA walks in Department Manager’s absence
- Other management tasks in Department Manager’s absence
- Complete charts and MDI boards when needed
- Understand and drive flow monitor
- Conduct daily Standard Work audits with the supervisor
- All other duties as assigned by Department Manager
