Mechanic - Weekend PM Shift (5th Shift)

Overview

Viatris, a global healthcare company, seeks a Maintenance Technician to support production systems and equipment at our facility. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, ensuring production runs smoothly and safely.

Base pay range

$37,000.00 / yr - $73,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, clean, repair, replace, install, maintain, assemble, and lubricate mechanical equipment. Inspect and maintain plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic breakdowns; assist electricians in troubleshooting electrical breakdowns.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and installation including IQ, OQ, and PQ of production systems and equipment.
• Complete PM, cGMP, parts, and CMMS documentation as required.
• Coordinate with outside suppliers to purchase replacement tooling and repair tooling; stage and restock tooling used in production.
• Work with manufacturing supervision and personnel to troubleshoot equipment problems; ensure adequate tooling and materials are available for installations or repairs.
• Assist with preparing material requisitions for parts fabrication, repairs, and shop inventories.
• Develop maintenance procedures as assigned and identify stock / parts inventory needs.
• Collaborate with outside contractors and OEM technicians to repair / modify production equipment; clean up machinery and work area after maintenance.
• Oversee and assist with training of Machinist / Mechanic apprentices; support engineering on new processes / equipment and modifications to existing processes / equipment.
