Job Description & Requirements

Title : RN – Emergency Room (ER)

Location : Caribou, Maine

Schedule : 36 hours / week | 12-hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Requirements :

  • Active RN License : Maine or Compact (Multistate) License.
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (required).
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year of recent ER nursing experience.
  • EMR Systems : Familiarity with CPSI Thrive, T-System, and EPIC preferred.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, responding to acute and life-threatening conditions.
  • Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients of all ages.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Accurately document patient care and update records in the EMR system.
