Location : Quincy, Illinois (62301) – Illinois nursing jobs

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1990 - $2130 per week

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nurse contract

Start Date : November 12, 2025

End Date : February 11, 2026

Setting : Acute Care, Level 2 Trauma & Stroke Center

Unit : 30-bed Emergency Room (27 medical beds, 3 ED Psych beds)

Shifts : 12-hour rotating shifts (Evenings, Mids, or Nights; to be determined)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Charting System : Allscripts - Sunrise

Number of Positions : 2 ER RN travel nurse jobs available

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Illinois RN license preferred

Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience

Current AHA certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS

TNCC or TNS certification required

NIHSS certification

Ability to start promptly for travel nursing assignment

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy ER (average 120 patients / day)

Collaborate within a POD nursing model for effective patient assignments

Respond to trauma, stroke, and cardiac emergencies as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Deliver care to medical, psychiatric, and sexual assault survivor patients

Accurately document patient care using Allscripts - Sunrise EHR

Comply with all hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards
