About Canyon Creek Behavioral Health :

Canyon Creek Behavioral Health opened in the Fall 2020 to serve the behavioral health needs of adolescents and adults in Temple, Texas and all surrounding areas of Central Texas. Our behavioral health center provides treatment options for individuals struggling with psychiatric health, chemical dependency and mood disorders such as anxiety and depression.

Canyon Creek is a 102-bed facility providing inpatient and outpatient treatment. Inpatient treatment is a form of acute hospitalization for individuals facing a psychiatric crisis. Outpatient care is provided in a less restrictive, part-time treatment environment.

The Chief Nursing Officer is a key member of our Senior Leadership Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric nursing strategy with a keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The CNO participates in the hospital’s strategic planning and contributes to the achievement of institutional goals and objectives. The Chief Nursing Officer will focus on 5 key areas : People, Service, Quality, Growth, and Finance
