Admit, treat, and discharge adult patients with diverse conditions. Float to units as needed, adapting quickly to changing environments. Participate in committees, quality improvement projects, and surveys. Uphold the standards of the Texas Nurse Practice Act and professional nursing ethics. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or Diploma; BSN preferred). Current RN license (Texas or Compact State). Recent acute care experience required. Certifications : BLS required. ACLS required prior to completion of orientation. NIH Stroke Scale required prior to completion of orientation. Skills & Attributes : Strong adaptability and flexibility. Excellent communication and teamwork. Ability to handle confidential information and therapeutic equipment
