About the Job

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to :

• Order and maintain adequate stock of dental supplies needed in the clinical and lab areas.
• Daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and maintenance of assigned clinic areas.
• Prepare and maintain operatories and instrument set ups as assigned each clinic session.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently prioritize tasks.
• Perform permissible duties as outlined in Minnesota Administrative Rules 3100.8400 (Assistants without a license or permit).
• Prioritize clinic workflow while supporting student requirements and faculty availability.
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency procedures and protocols including use of emergency equipment and completion of CPR training within 3 months of employment.
• This position may serve in a variety of clinical areas within the School of Dentistry as directed by Clinic Supervisor.
• This position requires the ability to sit and / or stand for long periods, lift, reach, bend and transport items to a variety of clinical areas.

Pay Range : $21.63 - 24.78 per hour; depending on education / qualifications / experience

Time Appointment Category : 100% Appointment
