Test Engineer to join a global automotive company in Raymond OH

We’re looking for a Test Engineer to join a global automotive company known for innovation, cutting-edge technology, and a passion for excellence in vehicle design and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with extensive experience in test engineering, data analysis, and control systems. Key Responsibilities Apply engineering principles and analytical tools to develop test plans and procedures for parts and components within your area of specialty. Conduct design feasibility tests to ensure parts / components meet design acceptance criteria, performance targets, and all applicable regulatory or internal standards. Create data settings, test specifications, standards, and schedules to support validation activities. Prepare and set up test equipment, execute moderately complex test activities, and document / summarize results with accuracy and thoroughness. Analyze and interpret test data to predict performance or failure trends, identify issues, and develop countermeasures or design improvements. Communicate test results clearly through written reports and formal presentations. Recommend design changes and countermeasures based on test outcomes and analysis. Collaborate cross-functionally with design, software, and calibration teams to enhance overall product performance and reliability. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Electrical Engineering (EE) required. Note : 6 years of directly related experience may be substituted for a degree. Minimum 5 years of test engineering experience in an automotive or related field. Strong hands-on experience in testing, validation, and confirmation per area of specialty. Proficiency with tools such as INCA, CANalyzer, and CANoe. Programming experience in C, C#, C++, and Python. Familiarity with microcontroller I / O programming and control logic. Experience with software testing and calibration methodologies. Key Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and technical reporting abilities.
