As the Production Training Manager, you will oversee all aspects of assigned restoration projects and assigned restoration crews. This front-line management position leads their team to operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include :
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for production staff, covering a range of restoration techniques, equipment operation, safety protocols, and customer service skillsConduct training sessions, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations to ensure understanding and proficiency in restoration processesEvaluate training needs and create customized training plans to address knowledge gaps and enhance performanceCollaborate with department managers to identify training priorities and align training initiatives with business goalsCreate and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, videos, and online resourcesStay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in restoration technology and incorporate them into training programsMonitor the progress and effectiveness of training programs through assessments, evaluations, and feedback from team members and managementProvide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to production staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvementDemonstrate excellent management and leadership skills by effectively motivating and inspiring the production team to achieve their goalsFoster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth among team membersHandle any performance issues or conflicts within the production team promptly and professionallyCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication across projectsAct as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and dedication to quality in all aspects of workAdditional responsibilities include :
Extensive experience in the restoration industry, with a strong understanding of restoration processes, equipment, and safety protocolsProven track record in designing and delivering effective training programs for adult learnersExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging mannerStrong organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple training initiatives simultaneouslyExceptional management and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse teamProficient in using training tools and software to create interactive and engaging training materialsAbility to establish rapport and build relationships with team members at all levelsKnowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards in the restoration fieldCertifications in restoration industry training programs (IICRC, RIA, etc.) preferred but not requiredPosition requirements include :
Valid driver's licenseHigh school diploma / GED; Associate degree or Bachelor's degree preferredAt least 1 year of management and / or supervisory experienceAt least 3 years of industry experienceIICRC certification a preferredSkills / Physical Demands / Competencies include :
