  • Provide direct care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to an assigned group of patients.\n
  • Plan, direct, and / or participate in the education of the patient, family, community, and health professionals.\n
  • Report pertinent observations and reactions regarding patients to the appropriate person (i.e. physicians, head nurse, charge nurse, and / or nursing supervisor) and record those observations accurately and concisely.\n
  • Maintain the standards of nursing care and implement the policies and procedures of the hospital and assigned nursing department.\n
  • Participate in meetings, in-services, and quality and performance improvement groups.\n
  • Participate in nursing research.\n
  • Provide quality care to patients and work with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest patient satisfaction.\n
  • May complete unit / department specific duties as outlined in department documents.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n
  • Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.\n
  • One (1) year of RN experience.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
