Customer Service Representative
The Customer Service Representative handles and resolves incoming patient account calls while providing a superior customer service experience.
- Answer all incoming patient calls.
- Address patient account questions and concerns in regard to billing, outstanding balances, payments plans, etc.
- Handle all return mail and re-verify addresses for accuracy.
- Document patient account accurately and completely.
- Respond to daily Web Portal emails.
- Maintain positive rapport with internal and external clients at all times.
- Demonstrate and embody the Women's Care mission and core values.
- Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.1 2 years' experience of patient / insurance AR collections and patient customer service in a medical / healthcare setting.Thorough knowledge of the accounts receivable collections process.Excellent customer service skills with the ability to tactfully communicate with all personality types and handle stressful situations.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Must be highly detail-oriented and organized.Able to multi-task while on the phone.Practice Management system experience preferred.Previous experience with eClinicalWorks preferred.Bilingual is a plus.Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
