Observation Registered Nurse

Why This Role?

This isn't your typical floor nursing role. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts (7 pm - 7 am) on weekdays , providing 23-hour observation care to a specialized orthopedic patient population. This allows you to practice highly focused, quality nursing while enjoying a schedule that gives you every weekend off.

What You'll Do :

Champion Patient Recovery : Provide compassionate, expert care, closely monitoring post-operative orthopedic patients during their critical observation stay.

Coordinate Seamless Care : Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement personalized care, ensuring safe transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Be the Nighttime Expert : Utilize your assessment and analytical skills to quickly identify and communicate changes in patient status to providers, driving the best possible plan of care.

Maintain Excellence : Practice nursing in strict accordance with professional standards, ensuring a safe, respectful, and ethical environment for all.

What You'll Bring : Required :

Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Preferred)

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association) within 90 days.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (American Heart Association).

Availability : Must be available for Night Shift / Overnight Shift .

Certifications : Other unit-specific certifications (PALS, NRP) may be required depending on facility protocols.
