Apply Today!\nJob Summary and Qualifications\n\nJob Summary : We are seeking a dynamic Labor & Delivery RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment to obstetric patients in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE : \n\nCollect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation\n\nAdvocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team\n\nAnalyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues\n\nEvaluates the obstetrical patient for any situation that may compromise the well-being of mother and fetus\n\nParticipate in routine delivery as well as planned or emergent Cesarean Sections\n\nAct as an advocate for patient safety\n\nEnsure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment\n\nEducate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay\n\nWhat qualifications you will need : \n\nFlorida RN license and / or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.\n\nBLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start\n\n1 year of RN experience in Labor & Delivery\n\nBSN is preferred\n\nNeonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date\n\nRegistered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree\n\nAdvanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date\n\nBasic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained prior to employment start date\n\nHCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a 404-bed tertiary care hospital.
