Purpose and Scope

Provides faculty and staff with high quality educational videos, which may include the production of faculty, staff, student, and guest speaker video presentations. General activities include creating, editing, and uploading video of subjects / events, creating animations for video projects, and coordinating pre-production schedules. Production involves the use of audio, visual, and editing equipment for internal audiences, but the product may also be used to promote the college to the community.

Essential Job Functions

• Applies expanded skills related to analytical, technical, or an operational process
• Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise
• Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and adheres to quality guidelines
• Works under a moderate degree of supervision
• Tasks may include working with computers, drafting and compiling data or information through Microsoft and other data software, etc.
• Produces, directs, and edits projects for the video and media department
• Promotes collaborative projects
• Responsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned

Physical Abilities

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Salary

Hourly Pay Rate is $15.85
