Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years CVOR Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A highly skilled CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) Technician is needed for a contract role in Freeport, IL. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where precision, technical expertise, and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and functional.
Assist surgeons and the surgical team during cardiovascular procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical equipment and supplies, coordinating with procurement as needed.
Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety standards.
Collaborate closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outes.

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

Proven experience as a CVOR Technician or in a related cardiovascular surgical tech role.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Strong munication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
