Project Engineer

Summary Description :   Provides Engineering Assistance to Senior Project Engineers within the firm. Manages small to medium sized engineering projects and serves as client contact.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilizes a broad knowledge of engineering discipline and applies skills in a specific practice area to further company objectives.
• Acts in responsible charge of small and medium sized projects, with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Prepares initial scope, schedule and deliverables for engineering services proposals,
• Develops and applies leadership and teamwork skills to effectively plan, execute, and manage scopes, schedules, and budgets to meet project stakeholder needs.
• Assigns tasks to and directs engineering, technical, and non-technical staff.
• Provides mentorship, guidance, and support to engineering staff.
• Plans and coordinates detailed aspects of the engineering work.

Requirements

Education :  Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.

Experience :   5 to 10 years of progressive engineering experience.

Professional License :   Licensed professional engineer.
