Title : CT Technologist
Location : Burlington, NC
Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift : Day Shift, 4x9-Hour (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 09 : 30 AM to 07 : 00 PM)
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in both acute care and emergency department settings.
Operate Siemens CT scanners and utilize PACS for image review and archiving.
Prepare, position, and monitor patients during scans, ensuring comfort and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
Administer and manage contrast media, including starting peripheral IVs as required.
Support physicians during special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainages, myelography, and vascular CTA studies.
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including Radiology, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams.
Maintain equipment functionality and follow infection control and quality assurance standards.
Demonstrate independence and efficiency in managing workflow in a fast-paced imaging environment.
Required Qualifications :
Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
Active ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required.
EPIC charting experience required.
Must hold an active North Carolina state license at time of submission.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience imaging across multiple age groups – neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Proficiency in performing CT scans of the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and musculoskeletal system with and without contrast.
Skilled in brain perfusion and CT arthrography procedures.
Strong organizational and critical-thinking skills, capable of working independently while ensuring precise diagnostic imaging.
