AVP Finance, FP&A (Lane Bryant)
Leads the Financial Planning and Analysis team that provides budgeting, and financial performance reviews to all departments and business units. Provides financial insights that directly affect key business decisions.
The impact you can have :
- Manages weekly communication of business analysis to provide information to and influence decisions of business leaders. Is accountable for the accuracy of the information.
- Identifies business trends and makes recommendations for achieving business goals using multiple sources of information. Is accountable for managing the quality of historical data as well as for the quality of guidance given.
- Manages the development of all management team members. Ensures associate goals are developed and performance feedback is given to all team members. Is accountable for team development. Demonstrates broad perspective knowledge of the business and influences decisions with sound data and analysis. Is accountable for quality of analysis given to others.
- Manages the budgeting process for the brand. Develops tools and processes that enhance the effectiveness of the budgeting process. Is accountable for accurate and on time budgeting process.
- Owns the Income Statement accuracy and reporting, including managing risks / opportunities process
- Reports complex financial analysis to Brand and Corporate CFO on weekly / monthly basis
- Manages paid media spend and partners with marketing to ensure spend drives optimal return for Lane Bryant
- Partners with marketing on analysis and enhancement for direct mail and loyalty programs
- Manages non-core / new business development P&Ls and analysis, which include Private Label Credit Card, ebbo Loyalty Program, Drop Ship, International Licensing, and others that are in development
- Owns partnership with KWG corporate and SSG with regard to corporate FP&A, Capital Management, General Accounting, Sales Audit, Accounts Receivable, and Inventory Control.
- Acts as backup / lieutenant to the CFO with regard to coverage in meetings and prioritization for the Finance Organizations workload
Youll bring to the role :
7 10 years of leadership experience in a specialty retail finance / merchandise planning department.Professional work experience that indicates the ability to perform to the expectations of the role as described above.BA degree in related field, with MBA strongly preferredPresents ideas and concepts in a way that gains buy-in and generates support from leaders and cross functional partners. Articulate and persuasive.Strategic thinker who can provide a broader perspective beyond short-term goals. Considers impact on the wider organization and stakeholders.Strong people leader who builds capability and confidence in others.
