About The Position

Indiana state license required prior to start date.

Certifications :

BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.

Experience with charge nurse responsibilities preferred.

Experience in telemetry and medical-surgical settings required.

Ability to manage a patient ratio of 5 : 1.

Description :

This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry environment.

The nurse will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Charge nurse responsibilities may be required based on operational needs.

Candidates must have experience in managing patients with various medical-surgical diagnoses.

The role includes administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing IV therapy and drips.

Candidates should be comfortable floating within the facility or to nearby facilities as necessary.

The use of specified charting systems is expected.

Nurses will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Candidates are expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Additional requirements include the ability to manage complex patient scenarios effectively while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

All candidates must comply with pre-employment requirements and complete any necessary training modules prior to starting.
